Question:
I have very poor credit and I am not able to obtain a credit card, how do I rebuild my credit?
I just looked at my credit report and I realize that I have a very poor rating. I am not able to get another credit card for very poor credit to help build credit again, nor am I able to get a loan, or anything involving a monthly bill. What can I do? Please assist me.
Answers:
Even if you did’t have a poor credit rating, there are financial advisors that will recommend that you look at your credit report once in a while for the following reasons: the details contained can decide whether you get that approval for the insurance or loan you are trying to get. It also reveals how much you would need to be paying per month. In order for you to double verify that the details you have there is true, finished and updated. This would also help you protect you against theft of identity.
Right when you see a mistake on a bill, you may report it to any of the companies mentioned above. They are reliable in correcting the errors that has been reflected on your credit report. Make the best out of this by calling your credit card service issuer.
If you currently a couple hundred dollars to put down on a secured credit card for very poor credit, it’s a decent option to help you start re-establishing your credit. Another advantage to the secured cars is that so long as you are able to pay down a deposit, a lender would work with you – these cards give almost guaranteed approval. It is an additional good option if you do not own or are not able to be approved for a regular unsecured credit card for very poor credit and wish to finance consumer items.
Try to get a secured credit card. It is not very good, but it’s a little step in a good direction. Another thing is to try talking to the manager where you bank; they have some suggestions once in a while.
